What we collect
- The name for your card, your rank and colony. These are public on the registry and your card page.
- Your email address, collected by Stripe at checkout, so we can send your card and answer you. It is never shown publicly.
- Payment records (amount, date, payment ID). Your card number is handled by Stripe, and we never see it.
We do not collect photos. A photo you add on your card page stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
How we use it
To create and show your card, send your card email, handle refunds and questions, and prevent fraud. We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who helps us
- Stripe, for payments.
- Supabase, which stores the registry.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
They process data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Registry entries stay as long as the registry runs. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
Email hello@martianid.net to ask for a copy of your data, to correct your card name, or to remove your name from the public registry. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete. We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
Martian ID is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we'll delete it.
